Sage 50 Manufacturing - Important Information

We have previously communicated with our customers that Sage decided to withdraw support for Sage 50 Manufacturing from 1st October 2021.

Sage have said from the initial communications that with effect from October 2020 they would no longer test the integrations of Sage 50 Manufacturing software with any new releases of Sage 50 Accounts.

Last year an issue was identified with Sage 50 Manufacturing when Sage 50 Accounts v28 is installed and with the upcoming release of v28.1 Sage have identified a further matter which prevents the manufacturing solution from working. An error message appears that says 'Could not logon to Sage Accounts. The following error was returned by the Sage 50 Accounts Program'.

Unfortunately Sage have not been able to find a workaround and as Sage 50 Manufacturing is now retired from their product range they will not resolve the issue.

If you are currently using Sage 50 Manufacturing we are strongly recommending that you don't upgrade your Sage 50 Accounts to any version higher than 27.2.

Please don't hesitate to get in contact with us if you need any assistance or if you wish to discuss moving to an alterantive manufactuirng solution.
