Sage 50 Manufacturing End of Life - What Happens to Support

As you’re probably already aware, Sage will not be supporting Sage 50 Manufacturing beyond 30th September 2021.
This does not mean Sage 50 Manufacturing itself will stop working on 30th September, although there are risks to your Sage 50 accounts and manufacturing integration, with which Onesys can provide advice and assistance.

No-one knows which version of Sage 50 accounts will create this future risk, currently we do know that Version 27 is the last version that Sage have confirmed is compatible with Sage 50 Manufacturing.

We want to help the hundreds of Sage 50 Manufacturing customers keep their current solution running, make it work better and help them plan for the future. This is the rationale behind the Onesys Sage 50 Manufacturing Support Service.

By adopting the Onesys Sage 50 Manufacturing Support Service, you will benefit from the wealth of knowledge we have built up over the years working with many Sage 50 Manufacturing customers from multiple sectors, including:
  • Chemicals, Paints and Plastics
  • Fabricators and General Manufacturing
  • Sub-Contractors
  • Food and Bakeries
  • Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
  • CNC Machining
  • Kitting and Complex Manufacturing
and many more…

We can add value by providing “Best use” consultancy, which will help you get more out of the system that you’ve already invested so much time, effort and money in.

When the time does come to consider changing away from Sage 50 Manufacturing, we can help you with the entire upgrade process. We can supply and implement a choice of modern, feature-rich manufacturing solutions from CIM, Sicon and others, transitioning this process with our internal resource.

In addition to providing access to our Technical Support Team you will also have a dedicated Account Manager, who will work with you to identify potential improvements to your business and as an additional resource to help you overcome any challenges you experience.

We are currently advising our existing Sage 50 Manufacturing customers as to their best course of action, the caveats they need to be aware of and incorporate them in to the system, as they plan for their future.

Please note that, as Sage are unable to update Sage 50 Manufacturing, we will be limited in what we can do to resolve program issues. We therefore make it clear that the Onesys Sage 50 Manufacturing Support Service is provided on a “Best endeavours” basis.

Most of our customers still prefer to call us for product support, however we also offer online logging and tracking of support queries through our Freshdesk ticketing system. We also widely utilise the Team Viewer system for remote diagnosis and query resolution. In most instances we are able to work with our customers’ preferred remote access method.

The Technical Support team’s standard hours of operation covered by the Onesys Sage 50 Manufacturing Support Service are Monday-Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (GMT).

We offer flexible payment options and a straightforward onboarding process to make things as easy as possible for you.
