Coronavirus Covid-19 Update

Here at Onesys, we are constantly reviewing our approach regarding the Covid-19 situation based on advice received from the Government and scientific best practice.
Here at Onesys, we are constantly reviewing our approach regarding the Covid-19 situation based on advice received from the Government and scientific best practice.

At the moment, all our offices remain open but with the majority of our Team working from home. As we move through the ‘Delay’ phase there is a likelihood that all of our Team will need to work from home. If this does occur, there should be minimal impact on our Customers, as we have robust plans in place for this and all of our internal systems are remotely accessible.
  • If any or all of our Team are affected or need to self-isolate, we are equipped to work from home
  • Our phone system is totally cloud-based. All staff working remotely can be reached as normal via 01423 330335
  • Our email, CRM, Accounts and Freshdesk Support system are all remotely accessible to our team members
  • Our Development Team can continue to code, test and deliver bespoke modifications for you. Most of our Developers already work from home for the majority of the time
  • Our hosting platforms are unaffected and are monitored and maintained by Microsoft with Onesys staff having full remote access from any location
  • If onsite meetings, consultancy and training need to be avoided, these can be conducted remotely via GoToMeeting or Skype/Microsoft Teams sessions
Onesys Support is working as normal and can be reached on 01423 330335 Option 2 or by emailing support@onesys.co.uk

If you have important consultancy days already booked in the diary, we will contact you to check that you intend to be available for the session(s) and if you would still like our consultants to attend. If not, we will offer the option of remotely delivering the services or we will rearrange the delivery day.

In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to protect individual Onesys staff from unnecessary exposure by limiting their exposure and delivering services remotely.

If you are worried about your IT business continuity (e.g. enabling remote access), then please call your Account Manager to discuss your options.
These options could be:
  • Sage 200/Sage 50 – configuring a Terminal Server or moving to the Onesys Azure Hosting platform
  • Sage CRM/Sage Coretime – configuring secure access without a VPN
  • OrderlineBOX/Masterplan– working with your IT company to configure your firewall for external access
  • Global – advice on remote access software
The key message from Onesys is that it is ‘business as usual’ for the time being. Please be assured that if we do need to close our offices, we can all perform all our key duties from home.

We are constantly reviewing this situation and we will keep you informed of any changes.

If you have any queries at all, please don't hesitate to contact your Account Manager or Project Manager.

Many Thanks

The Onesys Team
