Sage 200 Customer Day

Last week Onesys ISM held their annual Sage 200 Customer day at the Thorpe Park Hotel in Leeds. It is the opportunity for Onesys to meet with their customers as well as showcasing the many different offerings from Sage themselves and other third party suppliers. We try our very best to tie the Business Partner days as near to the new Sage 200 release as we can and this year both Anne Hardy and Adrian Malpass from Sage came along to present the new features of Sage 200cloud 2017 which is due for release this Summer.
We were very fortunate to see one of the first demonstrations of Sage 200cloud 2017 by Adrian and some of the main new features of the product are listed below:
  • Most of the changes within Sage 200cloud 2017 are based directly on Customer feedback
  • New one click installation technology. Sage aim to be able to give their customers new features as soon as they become available
  • New Invoicing Module
  • New Purchase Requisition Module
  • An Ideas Hub is now available for both Customers and Business Partners to put forward their product ideas on what additional functionality they would like to see in Sage 200cloud as well as where they would like to see the product going. Once the ideas are in the hub other Customers and Business Partners have the ability to vote on these ideas and with enough votes they could well be added to the product

We also had the guys from Webexpenses, Sean Morgan and Adeel Hussain along to present their product. Webexpenses is a great little product designed to help companies fully manage employee expenses in one integrated solution for better efficiency. Claimants have the ability to quickly build and submit expense claims including the ability to attach digital receipts and send full claims over to the approval team. The Finance team can take full control in ensuring that company expenses policies are met with the use of inbuilt management, reporting and compliance features. We are rolling out Webexpenses internally and we are really looking forward to seeing how this system improves our efficiency and reduces the sometimes arduous task of submitting expenses.

Allan James from Eureka came along to discuss with our customers two of their products that integrate with Sage 200, Data Exchange and Sales Order Plus. Data Exchange allows automatic Sage 200 integration and transfers information between external systems and Sage without any manual intervention. Standard connectors are available for many systems, including Amazon and eBay. Sales Order Plus for Sage 200 provides the tools you need to sell more products, speed up the order entry process and provides all the required customer and product information in one screen. Eureka have a wide range of other add ons in their suite and a list of these are available on our website here.

Zoe Young from Draycir presented Credit Hound to our customers and received a lot of interest on the back of this – any way for businesses to chase debts more efficiently and improve cash flow is sure to be a winner! Zoe also demonstrated their exciting new product Spindle Self-Serve. Spindle Self-Serve is an online portal for Sage 200 and allows customers to have access to their own accounts in order to view information reducing queries made via telephone or email. More information on Spindle Self-Serve can be found here.

Jade Turley from Panintelligence wowed our customers with Panintelligence. Panintelligence is business intelligence and dashboard reporting software that can show data from multiple sources in one place. Jade always does a great job of showcasing the capabilities of the Panintelligence software and how it can really be a transformational tool for any type of business. Panintelligence is also available to trial online by following the Try Pi link.

We also welcomed Cormac McCarthy from Codis to show their neat add on to Sage 200, Excelerator. Excelerator is an Excel add-in that creates seamless integration with Sage 200. With a mouse click, data is validated and updated to Sage with complete accuracy, cutting data processing costs by up to 50%. Find out more about how Excelerator can benefit your organisation here.

Torben from Paperless also came along to showcase Paperless to our customers. Torben has a fantastically deadpan way of presenting and had us all enthralled throughout his twenty minute presentation. Paperless is a powerful solution that uses automatic invoice recognition, data input and document matching together with electronic document flow, online document exchange and approval to improve the efficiency of your Sage 200 system allowing customers to have all their documents directly linked to the corresponding transactions. Find out more information on Paperless here.

We had a thoroughly valuable and enjoyable day at our Customer event last week. It is always nice to be able to put a face to a name and learn a little bit more about our customers and how their businesses operate on a day to day basis. Our customers allowing us to showcase how our partners software can make their lives easier and their businesses more efficient makes it all worthwhile to us. We continue to learn and Katie (Marketing Manager) is already beginning to make plans for next year!

A huge thank you to all the Customers that took time out of their day to attend and likewise to all the Suppliers who presented their software so well. Here’s to next year….
